iLitBridge pairs rigorous phonics and vocabulary instruction with Lexile-leveled texts drawn from African American history and the African Diaspora. Every lesson spans two days and ships with a teacher edition and printable student packet.
Phonics
Explicit skill, blending ladder, transfer words, decodable sentences, and Day 2 dictation.
Word Work
Five to six vocabulary words with morphology, context sentences, and word sorts.
Text Reading
Lexile-leveled literary and informational texts in eight numbered paragraphs.
Comprehension
Oral and written questions at literal, inferential, and critical-thinking levels.
Lesson materials are licensed, not public
The full library — 30 lessons per cycle, ten per grade, refreshed each quarter — is available only to schools, districts, and organizations with a signed iLitBridge intervention program contract. Educators create an account, an administrator verifies the account against the contract, and only then do texts, teacher editions, and printables unlock.
